The felt hat has an elastic band in the brim of the hat so it can expand to fit most head sizes, either adult or child.
The hat has six sections that alternate colors. Each section has five tentacles in it and two of the tentacles have LED lights in them that flash the same color as the tentacles. There are 30 tentacles total.
The battery compartment has an on/off switch. It includes four LR1130 batteries, and the batteries are replacable.
Due to the presence of small parts, this novelty is not recommended for children under the age of five years old.
